The Nebraska Mineral and Gem Club is a non-profit organization promoting geology and lapidary arts. The club sponsors geology student scholarships for UNL and UNO. The club meets monthly to promote sharing of information on rocks, minerals, gemstones, jewelry and other lapidary arts. Our annual rock swap and the annual Omaha Gem and Mineral Show are our opportunity to share our love of rocks, minerals, and gem with the public.
What are these beautiful rocks, why do they look like they do, and where can you get ones just like them?
